PRS-T3 For people wanting to buy a Sony PRS T3 - Page 2

Hatgirl, I've just found a NEW T3 on sale from Canada for CAD132.99 plus $25.00 international shipping on Ebay - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-SONY-D...item4632967306

I'm definitely considering getting this as my T1 has been even more unreliable than usual recently.

Quick question for anyone having a T3 or T3s....did you buy a lighted case for it? And if so, do you like the lighted case for it? I have been trying to decide whether or not to purchase a lighted case for my T3s. I am currently using a Kandl clip on and it works pretty well..but still wonder if I should get the case, depending on whether or not the light works well enough. I would appreciate any opinions here.

i bought the t3 plus the case with the light. The light is very elegant and the design is superb. I am very happy with it.

The Sony case certainly does look very nice. From what I read it doesn't add much weight to the reader. My one and only concern is whether or not the light covers the whole page for clear viewing. I am hoping that it does. I do like the idea of not having to keep buying batteries. This is the case I would like to get.
Salgueiros can you tell me if the Sony lighted cover does a good job lighting the entire page, please?

I like mine. I bought it when they were clearing them out a while ago. If I remember correctly I got it for less than $10.

I got the red one for my red reader and then later I bought a black T3 for a spare. I really like it and am sad to see them go. Sony just recently announced they were closing all stores in Canada too. But I digress....

I find that it lights the whole page. It does get dim as it gets to the bottom but it's not a deal breaker for me. Now, whether that's because I paid $10 and not $60 may have a great deal to do with my attitude. I honestly don't know. I'm happy with it. The only ones left at the store I went to then were the white ones. I got the demo red cover. I think they were stuck with them because they had white lighted covers and NO white readers to go with it.

Well then it looks like I will have to order myself a sony lighted case for my T3s. I will justify its purchase by calling it a Valentines Day gift for myself! I imagine that pretty soon they will be more difficult to find, especially since I live in the USA. So I had better snatch one up on the quick.
