You're confusing Apple with Samsung. Be honest, if this was a Note 4 vs PW2 comparison, would you even stick your nose in here?

Apple is a hardware and software company. Products that thrive mainly because of their marketing don't last very long, you see it all the time with music, movies, TV, and games.

People wouldn't be upset with the discontinuation of the iPod Classic if it was just another cheap MP3 player. The iPhone isn't just a phone you stuff in front your face and text and call people with, it's a smartphone and people should take advantage of everything it can do. I don't think campaigns like "You're more powerful than you think" and "Your Verse" are self-bragging, they are accurate recreations of what some of us are doing with our iPhones and iPads and have been since the App Store opened.

I can get a $310 trade-in from Apple on my 5S, so I'm cancelling my Voyage order and getting a iphone 6 plus.

After seeing the iphones in person I decided to go with the 64G iphone 6 and keep my paperwhite for some situations. I'm restoring my backup to the new phone now.

I've been doing most of my reading on my iphone 5s using Marvin lately because my NST Glowlight bit the dust. I generally read about 2 hours a day, and honestly, I don't really notice any difference between reading on e-ink or LCD, nor does it drain my battery excessively. I assume reading on the iPhone 6 or 6 plus would be even better because of the bigger display.

That being said, I never found my Nook to be particularly sluggish either.

Does anyone think there will be a new iPod touch the size of the 6+? They have updated the iPods to match the iPhone size in the past; whilst I wouldn't want a phone that size I think as a mini-tablet it might work well for me. I'd rather travel with something that size than my mini iPad.
