Your images are distorted on my T3.
Mine are not, or at least I can't see them.
I'll download your image and use my settings in calibre and see what's happening.

I'm not sure where that leaves me???

I can't find the problem. Any ideas where to look or what to change exactly?

Maybe I should post in the formats thread to see if anyone has a more concrete clue there?

Well, you can't, if my theory is valid. In short, the display of a cover in sleepmode is not governed by the ePub but by Sony itself (the same way it eg implements the TOC).

That was what I was assuming... so I have to live with stretching the cover to get it aspect ratio on my reader.

Really something that is strange on the SONY reader.
