I have the latest everything and I'm seeing very little of the Livestream. The stream keeps stopping and screwing up. And it is in very low resolution. Plus the first 30 minutes had a Chinese voice overlay that made it difficult here the English speakers. Apple really shanked the Liveview. Whoever is running their Livestream should be fired. They obviously have no clue...

Yes, they got it working eventually but somebody really messed up.

It looks like they're moving away from the "i"Thingy branding and moving to an Apple symbol instead. No surprises with the iPhone6. The watch looks pretty good though.

I think they traditionally release new iPads in October at another event. I'll have to check on that though.

ETA: Yep, the iPad event last year was separate and on October 22, 2013. So iPad event will be next month.

YEp, they finally cleared it up with a slightly delayed cast, but they still had some sound and video issues. I missed pretty much the whole iPhone 6 presentation, and what little I saw was in low resolution, as in VGA quality!

Apple Watch looks cool, but not my cup of tea. Too many of the cool functions require another person owning it too, and that ain't gonna happen with most of my friends and family. Perfectly happy with my iPhone 5, so not planning on upgrading it this year. I'm curious what the new iPads will offer though.

I found the video OK when it worked. But the double voices made it really hard to hear what was being said about the new iPhones. That was a total botch job.

I wish instead of all these new toys they would spend the time to get iTunes working well. What a POS. I turned it on to see about the free U2 album, but it crashed trying to sync my iPad mini Retina over WiFi. That has never worked well. I plugged the iPad mini R into my Mac Mini via USB cable and got it to sync. Then plugged in my iPhone 5 and iTunes crashed again. @#$% This is why I so rarely backup my iThingies to iTunes--the POS nearly always crashes! And it always takes forever....slowest damn sync I've ever seen...

The streaming was horrible. Ended up watching on Twit.tv.

Watch for my birthday next year. A gift to myself. I'm excited about ApplePay. I currently use a wallet case on my iPhone 5S. I like the new improvements to the M8 too. This morning the M7 went backwards on me when I was walking around trying to get to my steps goal on Breeze.

The new U2 album is good so far.

They've obviously thought it through and one thing I can say about Apple is that they do a good job of getting non techie people involved in the design process so that it's not just a cool gadget. They do think through the user interface. It's not easy to launch a product when there is all kinds of hype and high expectations but I think they delivered.

I can see that these new wearables are going to bring in a whole new category of distracted drivers though.
