So, I must have this to work good:
iRex iLiad Travelhub. Anything else? Is a cover significant? Soon it time to do an order... Ciao, - marcoi |

The travelhub is included with the iLiad. A cover is a good idea, see iLiad Accessories.

Yes. Sounds good!
Whatta, I am worry. Everybody says that the Gen3 is so good and nice layout. iLiad is more expensive, bigger, can do PDF-files best... Of course, they had both things that could be better. If I convert every PDF-file into HTML it will work nice on Cybook Gen3 I think? What shall I do. Please, vote on that you think; I will read much outside, in sun. In small times at school, in my bed. And it is only PDF-files I got. But, I can convert... Take care, - marco berskar Last edited by benk3; 06-03-2008 at 05:48 PM. |

Raw HTML doesn't work too well on the Cybook if there are images. Of course once you have html you can build a mobibook usable on either device. The extra resolution of the iLiad 1024x768 vs 800x600 will make images easier to see. the iLiad is also 16 gray levels vs. 4 which also improves images. Dale |

See my post in thread 'eBook Reader PDF Capabilities' on 11/30.
The Aluratek Libre eBook Reader has developed brand new firmware to read pdf eBooks and files, and it works like a charm to reflow the text and zoom the font size. This reader is way less expensive than the eBook Readers quoted in this thread - around the $200 mark depending upon where you buy it. It also comes with 100 books already preloaded on an SD card, which alone makes it worth the price. My requirement was mainly for pdf eBooks and files and this is perfect - I love my Aluratek Libre eBook Reader AnniJM |

This thread is really old. There are a number of ebook devices now that read PDF files. See this guide: https://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/E-book_Reader_Matrix
