I also am well-pleased with the Gecko Slimfit for Aura6". The blue one is such a beautiful colour. Very good quality, but definitely not cheap compared to those on Amazon/ebay sold under various names.

I have one of these cheaper ones (in purple) for my AuraHD. It's held up well despite its cheapness. I do handle all my gadgets like precious jewels, though. My husband thinks I'm a bit obsessive about it

Booklover6 beat me to it; my first Aura cover was like yours, Josieb1, light gray interior and bonded rather than stitched. It had problems from the start with the sleep function, I ended up adding a tiny magnet to the exterior front in order to get it to stay asleep. I recently purchased one of the stitched style off eBay (for $3.50) and I'm quite happy with it, the sleep function works as it should and overall the cover is much sturdier, not floppy like my first one.

I'd love to get one of the Gecko slimfit covers but the cost plus shipping to the US is prohibitive.

Do contact Gecko. I had one where a bit of the leather, where it was folded and sealed at the corner, was showing wear and coming unstuck. It was nearly a year old. They replaced it gratis, with an apology, no problems. I'd recommend their customer service very highly.

I did, sent the pictures over the weekend, and today they replied that they'll send a new cover. No complaints about the customer service, but I suspect these are "normal" problems with this cover, especially the loosening.

That's great.

I also had a result today. Hubby took my Kobo Sleepcover into WHSmith and the manager replaced it today

The 'duty manager' yesterday was the one not interested, but hubby went back today armed with the EH directive number that says all costumer goods have a 2 year Warrenty and details of the SAD FART rules, I.e The item must be of Satisfactory quality, As Described, Fit for purpose, And last a Reasonable length of Time.

I just thought 9 months for a £25 (rrp £35) cover was crap.
