If you run the installer from the command line with the /NOCANDY argument, e.g.,

c:\> FreeFileSync_6.7_Windows_Setup /NOCANDY

it doesn't install all that cruft. You can also use the portable version that does not include OpenCandy

Thanks for the info. This is one time Malwarebytes Pro actually earned its keep and stopped the cruft before it was installed.
