Well, I've got a Kindle 2, a Kindle DXG, a Kindle Paperwhite 2, a Boox M90, a Kobo Aura HD, a Sony PRS-950 an iPad 4, and two Nexus 7s. I really only read on the DXG, PW2 and Kobo.

I'm going to unload the Sony and the Boox, neither of them has been used much since I got them a few years ago.

I'm unloading a few of mine, too. I really don't need 9 just for myself.

Like a few others I decided to unload a few eReaders.

I'm now left with the Aura HD and Paperwhite 2nd gen. For the moment it is the best that the big two companies have to offer.

You're not the only hoarder here. I myself am guilty of that, though I prefer to think of myself as a collector.

Yeah, it does sound better. I must admit the only reason that I have so many ereaders around is that the resale value of the ones that I want to get rid of is negligible. The others that still have some value have mostly ended up in the hands of family members willing to take an ereader off my hands. Now if I could convince them the gift does not come with endless tech support...

My wife's comment was that I was a hoarder before hoarding was cool. My response is that anyone into electronics has a well filled "junk" box with those parts you just might need for a new project.

Well, define hoarder... Different readers, different situations and locations!

I marked 5--probably should have been 6, but didn't count my Sony PRS-505, as the battery is on it's last legs.
I have a Nook Classic--not used very much at all; a Sony PRS-650; Sony PRS-350; Kindle PW2, and a new Aura HD that my hubby just bought me for my birthday a couple of months ago.
Didn't count my iPad, even though I do read on it once in a while.

I'm a hoarder, I tend to keep my old electronics. I'm in the 9+ range. I've never counted them all. Thankfully they don't take up much space. Electronics and ebooks are the only items I hoard.

Two dedicated eReaders at the moment, but there's also a Nexus 7 tablet, my phone, and Kindle Fire to read on.

Until last week I only had 1, a Kindle Keyboard. But I found a Nook Simple Touch (not Glow) on a shelf at WalMart and it rang up at $45...so I bought it. No good reason...don't need it. But couldn't say no. I do have an iPad but don't use it for reading.

I think the NST will end up as my "in my purse" device and the KK will remain at home.

I do want to go by Best Buy tomorrow though and look at a PW2 and the new entry level "Basic" Kindle. I'd rather have a K4BNT but they are disappearing very fast (though I can always look for a used one).

Anyway...that is a long way to say...2 for now.

If I count all devices I've used as ereader, I've more than the ones I now (actively) use..

Let's see...

Franklin eBookman (without light)
Fujitsu Siemens Loox 600
Fujitsu Siemens Loox 720
Some Chinese brand 7" Windows CE device
BeBook Mini (active)
HTC Flyer 7"
Sony PRS650
Asus VivoTab Note 8 (active)
Onyx Boox T68 (active)
Samsung Galaxy Note 8

And then I'm not counting the
second Franklin eBookman (with light)
HP iPAQ (active)
Lenovo 7" android tablet (forgot the number on it)
Kindle 3 Keyboard (cracked screen)
Asus VivoTab Note 8
Kindle 4 Touch (active)

I could never get rid of my devices and I don't think my husband would agree if I sold his

Say it loud, say it proud: I'm a hoarder when it comes to electronics. Once it enters my clutches it never leaves.

My ereaders are:

Franklin eBookman 911
Aluratek Libre Pro
Sony 350
Pandigital Novel (white) (rooted)
Sony T1
Nook HD
Nook HD+ (rooted)
Kindle Fire HDX

I'm not counting computers or cell phone because I don't do any book reading on those devices.

I just need (note I didn't say want ) a front-lit ereader. That'll keep me set until the next great thing comes along.
