Nook HD comm issue

I get the following:

calibre, version 2.20.0
ERROR: Error: Error communicating with device

Failed to upload file named: driveinfo.calibre to (u'SD Card',): 2:PTP Layer error 2002: send_file_object_info(): Could not send object info.
2:Error 2002: PTP: General Error

I restarted my mac and get this

That is an error writing a file to the SD card. You need to either replace the card or reformat it. If neither of those work, there is nothing else that calibre can do, since it needs to be able to write files there. You can look into using one of the wireless connection methods described here instead: http://manual.calibre-ebook.com/faq....kindle-fire-hd

Same problem...

I am getting the same error. I have uninstalled calibre (including library removal) and reinstalled after Mac restart. I have reset my Nook HD to factory settings and reformatted the extra SD card. I continue to get the same error on my Mac, however when I use my PC it works fine. Problem is my Mac is my primary computer and my PC is on it's way out...
