I got that one free and was pleasantly surprised. I don't generally read police procedurals.

i take my Kindle with me everywhere. Except grodery shopping. If there is any chance of "down time" I pull it out. Today was the first time that anyone has ever asked me about it, though. I was waiting for my sectional VP to have a meeting and was reading. He asked about it. Fortunately, I was reading a business book about managing people, so that was okay.

Funny story! All of my bosses and co-workers know what a scifi nut I am, so they would never be fooled by me appearing to read a management book. However, they all love to look at and fiddle with my EB-1150.

Yesterday at the eye doc's, he wanted to play with it again. He is almost ready to buy a Kindle, and has asked about my reader every time I'm there. However, his RN in charge of keeping him on schedule wouldn't let him have play time yesterday. It was cute that she said "frog" and he jumped!

How about taking it to Denver?

The World Science Fiction Convention is in Denver 6-10 August this year.
http://www.denvention.org/index.php

The programming includes stuff on "The Technology of Reading" http://www.denvention.org/programmin...yofreading.php and I am involved. I should like to have examples of the latest readers and I do have most of them. But I cannot beg, borrow or steal (even, nay especially, from Fujitsu themselves) the Fujitsu Frontech FLEPia http://www.frontech.fujitsu.com/en/r.../20070420.html .

If anyone here (especially anyone in Japan) can arrange for me to have one in Denver in August I should be very grateful.

I had to all but pry it away from my chiropractor's hands the other day. I was like hey doc...my back...ya think ya can do some magic here? I'll let you play with the magic book later...

Then the nurse came in and brought him back to his senses

I've currently got too darn many books on here and a $50- fictionwise account still burning a hole in my monitor.

I made the mistake of going to a paper book store today and thought of several more that I'd like to add to the Sony's tummy.
