And on with the mozzling...
"defraise"...to damn with faint praise (very useful for personal reviews.) "flinger"...to hover with fingers poised above the keyboard, especially when on instant chat lines whilst waiting for the other person to finish typing. |

PNG files are pronounced "ping", and GIF files are pronounced "JIFF", not "Giff" with a hard G. Don't fight me on this, I worked for Compuserve. DJVU files are of course "Deja Vu", intentionally. MOZ files haven't been invented yet, but we're working on it. I haven't quite figured out what they'd contain, but I'm thinking either gimboo or liseuse config files.
My younger brother was walking around the house, doing nothing, and my Mother asked what he was doing. His reply was "Just songin' around the Ginkle track." It entered family lore as the catchphrase for "pleasantly doing nothing much". Last edited by Taylor514ce; 05-27-2008 at 09:20 AM. |

ProctOr, being the correct spelling of the name, would be the first way people would consider writing down the name of that company. ProctOr, being, after all the fine, revered Norman surname brought to England along with a few hundred sackers and looters by my English ancestors. ProctEr, was a misspelling that crept into the record after some distant relatives managed to get thrown out of England. (Prior to my own g'grandfather getting thrown out in the late 19th century, of course.) These spelling impaired ProctErs settled in the Ohio Valley and started making soap from the abundant pig fat available from the local farms and founded a multi-national conglomerate. Which just shows you that your grammar school teacher was right. If you don't learn to spell things properly, you won't amount to much of anything. ![]() |

I always loved my (in my youth) unknowingly mispronounced "volumptuous". It somehow seemed more descriptive.

Perhaps my favorite mozzle of all happened in this post by Nate The Great.
"Ezoanding" Besides the pure beauty of the word, and the the fact that I was certain it would become the new "pwned", what makes this mozzle fascinating is that Nate The Great somehow went back in time and changed it back to the very pedestrian "expanding" without leaving any indication of editing. That is not only a great Mozzle History, but a great Mozzle Mystery. To you, Nate the Great, I say: Mozzle-tov! |

For my own Mozzle creation, I submit "Glandicious"
"Glandicious" is a word I mozzled over a decade ago, and it means "What Zelda-Pinwheel looked like in that avatar when she was taking a bath". She was positively glandicous! Last edited by Donnageddon; 05-27-2008 at 11:24 PM. Reason: I am an idiot |

dollarthong - any thing bought so cheaply, while ignoring its crappily-made condition, that you know it's got about two weeks' and probably a lot less worth of life in it before it spectacularly blows out like a pair of thongs ("flipflops" for you naughty-minded people) that you bought for $1.00.
[Note: This has been a true story, based on real events, and the word is already in the localised lexicon] Cheers, Marc Last edited by montsnmags; 05-28-2008 at 02:14 AM. |

Marc, I must admit to a certain amount of discrimination in the glandular idolation I am particular to.
But I'm sure you have lovely pair of coconuts. |

montsnmags, I must say, that "thong" has a unique connotation in the States that represents a thin garment that separates the merely glandicious from the obviously (and criminally penalizable) pornographical.
But, oddly enough, the term "flipflop" separates the electable from the positively pornographical criminalitatious. That is why we have elections! To separate the flipflops from the dollarthongs! The US may have an imperfect election system, but we always find a way to mozzle through it! Last edited by Donnageddon; 05-28-2008 at 02:19 AM. Reason: <<---- idiot |
