If you aren't buying books from Kobo, using a new account is one way to fix this. And in that case, I would probably turn the WIFi off so that no syncs happened. Hence the duplication wouldn't happen. Or you can add an entry to the devcies config file to prevent the shelves from syncing. Search this forum for "SyncShelves" to find out how.

Wow! I got the new plug in installed and it works! Could see all of my collections! Thanks so much davidfor! Now need to start investigating the syncshelves that you mentioned.
As for my hastiness in getting a new kobo account, ….uh yeah. Did not think that one through well enough. I do have books that I bought from kobo. I did not close that account, I can still get into it. I just now have two. I sent a question to kobo. Filled out the questionnaire yesterday and was told that an email was sent to me....not. Was also told that they would call in 20 minutes....not. Just another kobo issues to work on. Thanks again for all of your efforts! ![]() |
