2 things I didn't like about Kobo Glo, but what about others?

The Kobo Glo's plastic boarder is 7/16 of an inch, so almost the same.

The problem with the Aura, though, is that the screen is flush with the bezel, so you can't just feel where the screen starts, as you can with devices with raised bezels. I far prefer a raised bezel, for that reason.

That could definitely make a difference to someone. I was reading on my Aura last night without the case, and accidentally opened the bottom settings menu a couple times.

Yes, they seem to be following the "completely featureless black slab" look that's so beloved of tablet makers these days. I don't personally like it in a reading device - it makes it more difficult to turn the page by touch alone. It's a problem I've had myself when reading on my iPad or Nexus.
