I could not do the same on my T1. Was this done directly from the T2 or did you use the computer for the transfer?

Legal *The Kobo Store is accessible from Sony Wi-Fi Readers PRS-T1, PRS-T2 and PRS-T3 models only. Sony Readers PRS-900 and PR-950 do not have direct access to the Kobo Store. |

I'm in Sweden and received the update to Kobo today. I have an account there already, but when I log in to the store, I get the message saying that "the store is only open in Canada and the US. Please change your region in the reader app."
The problem is that I can't change my region to any of those. Only European countries. Does this mean that I'm screwed? |

So I need to look under Bookshelves->Purchased content eh? I'll give that a try. I don't find that very intuitive. Back in the day when I had my T1 I used to be able to just go to the kobobooks site, buy the book, tap download and it would download in my reader with no worries. Almost like the Readerstore. As long as it wasn't a kepub it would work. But since Readerstore now equals Kokostore, it was giving me fits. I could buy off the reader but I couldn't find a way for it to download short of plugging it to a computer and syncing that way.
Can I say I don't like how you have to contact kobo? You fill out a form and they want your email address (which is fine I like getting emails back) and your phone number. It won't send the request without a phone number. Then they insist on CALLING YOU within 5 minutes of you're request. Look I appreciate they want people to know you are "talking to a human" and not a machine, but I'd rather get a damn email over being called when I'm at work, or heading home, or doing you know real life stuff. I ignored the calls (I was at a meeting during one of them). Then they called me again at night when I'm at home (here's a newsflash I don't carry my cell around from room to room in my house. If it's by my keys and I'm in another room, I won't necessarily hear it. EDIT: Okay... I had to get a sampler so I could test out the loading of books from KOBO. It does work by going into Bookshelves->Choose Bookshelf->Purchased Content. Mind you, you may have to wade through things (it seems the titles are in alphabetic order) to find it but you can indeed tap the download button and it will load. I only wish Kobo would ... I don't know make a video or write out some clear instructions somewhere. I would go to their Customer help and suggest that but I don't want to have to wait for them to call me. I've read on this forum that it's possible to download a preview and then see if epub is available, but that seems like a lot of extra steps, if you already know what book you want and just want to buy it quickly. Although I did do the Sony-to-Kobo transfer process, I have not actually bought anything from Kobo and this issue is the main reason why. |

She said they are updating their system to properly indicate in the store that a book is compatible with Sony Reader, but until then she suggested looking for "Blackberry" in the "Read this on" listing for the book as an indication that the book is compatible. Seems to work in the case of "The Martian", at least. Anybody have any other experiences? Bob |

I wish improve their site in some other ways, like having a list mode option instead of the huge book covers, and allowing us to choose how many results to view per page.... but I will be happy if I can at least know I will be able to read a book if I buy it! |
