Honestly I have never had any problem figuring that out. It's always been pretty obvious for me as you can see from the pictures.

Kobo elsewhere isn't as forthcoming (see attached pic). It's whole setup appears to be heavily geolocation-based.

You know you could do two things.
First, you could check every book you wanna buy on kobobooks.com or rakuten.kobobooks.com and then buy on your site.
If you have problems opening these sites you can use Hola extension with Chrome, (you can find it in chrome store) and change your geo-location virtually.
Or, just pop every book from Kobo into Calibre with Apprentice Alf plugin regardless of existence of DRM on it.

That rather defeats my purpose of "voting with my wallet", by only buying DRM-free. Also, it's often (depending on jurisdiction) illegal, so puts you in the same legal category as someone pirating the ebook.
