The source of the misspelling is the movie quote section on the IMDB. Those are generally submitted by fans, not by the company itself.

This might explain why other posters said the word was spelled correctly in their ebooks. Because the Black Library does have editors and proofreaders.

By the way, I hope nobody rated the Warhammer books as "won't use them to line the bottom of a bird cage" because an IMBD user spelled part of their famous quotation wrong.

If you don't like the books, that's fine. It's even OK if you despise them. (Gasp! ) But please don't give them a low rating because you've never read them, but you think they spelled something wrong because you saw a misspelled word in a message board post.

By the way, has anyone else tried to Warhammer game now out for mobile devices? I've learned that I'm terrible Space Marine. Actually my shooting and fighting isn't too bad, but I keep falling into those giant grinding gear thingies. It is pricey for what it is, but I felt like indulging.

Why so harsh, Harry? At the second incidence, I say "digression to the inane," and pointless.

I started the Horus Heresy series/subseries{?} and I didn't like it, at all!

But to honest, I felt completely lost with the whole universe. I saw so many different titles and various series that I wasn't sure where to start or anything. Which is why I just jumped in and hoped for the best.

Warhammer is a different universe!

That is the point.

No old staid boring humdrum.

I liked the Horus Heresy books I read, but it's probably not the best series to get into the 40K world. My first introduction was the Gaunt's Ghost series. Overall it's a good introduction to the world and Abnett is a great writer.

Yeah, the Horus Heresy books are actually the back story to Warhammer 40,000 - the civil war is one of the reasons why the Imperium is so messed up by the 41st millenium. The general outline of events has been part of the WH40K canon for some time which the books explore in greater details. They're a great read if you're already familiar with the universe, since they contain events and characters that have become legends by the time that the game, and the other books, are set, but I imagine that they could be confusing to a newcomer (and since they take place ten thousand years earlier, they're essentially Warhammer 30,000)
