If your permissions are not similar to those (for your own set of Principals) I gave then it is conceivable that you have, or had, a permissions problem.

As I stated earlier, if Calibre is working and no problems are apparent with other applications (updating, installing or using them) then I would tend not to worry about it. However, you now have a set of permissions as they exist for the Principals that exist on another Win 8.1 (8Apr14 updated) 64 bit PC as a guide as to where the problem may lie should you still be having issues with installations.

In fact, I was going to snip the permissions window in the first place but I wanted to include the full text of all the fields, including the "Access" one, and on first blush it was going to be a wide image. So instead of worrying myself into being lead into finding that resizing it down resulted in poor readability, in the limited time I had available I just spend a moment to type it.

Unfortunately that did not go as smoothly as I had expected . Par for the course when one is in a hurry.

Which is why I often click the CODE button, which is also pretty handy in a hurry. I'm just saying it's something I've found useful.

Thanks ES, I am keeping that in mind in case needed.

I have never had the issue before, but that said the many times when I have composed posts externally that has been almost exclusively in forums other than MobileRead.
