Would adding the extra covers into a CBZ (or CBR) file help? All a CBZ is is a renamed ZIP file; same for a CBR which is a renamed RAR.

But, if it could be done, and I knew how to do it then I would recommend the backcover be put where it belongs - at the back of the book using the Calibre Book Editor or Sigil - assuming you have it in EPUB or AZW3. It seems to me that the main reason there's a cover.jpg in the book folder is so that it can be displayed in Book Details, Book Information, Book Carousel, Cover Grid etc. It's not essential, providing you are OK with seeing default shiny light brown PVC covers everywhere. The main reason I have covers, is that I'm not OK with that. Which means I have to rip them off the books themselves with Modify - because for me they're a waste of space at the front, or the back, of the book ![]() BR Last edited by BetterRed; 04-10-2014 at 10:17 PM. |
