Well, I installed the Win 7 app, but because I had already downloaded it, it wouldn't let me download it again, so I have given up and just asked for a refund.

I might try a free Kindle book and see if that works.

Tried a free book, and with Win 7 it still doesn't put it in My Kindle Content.

Sorry, it does. It just put it in the default location on my programme drive rather than my data drive.

Just changed where to store content and it's appeared with all my other books now.

So thanks for the heads up for Win 7.
