I can answer this one for you because I have done it a few times. As far as the device goes, nothing happens it is the same book. The copy on the device remains unchanged. As far as your Manage Your Kindle page goes, it removes the Prime borrowing status, and it just becomes another book in your library. And for all those non-devices you have on your account, it now becomes available to them.

The one pet peeve I have about the prime library borrowing is once you return the book, it disappears from your MYK page. I like having them there because I like to go back and purchase the ones I plan to read again, or I want on my account for another user to see if they want it.
