So you believe it's not a drawback to carry a squeaky device? Just curious to know if the glass is half full or half empty!

It is good to make reader that does not squeak while reading. It is better to make reader that does not squeak and is easily opened without damage to replace battery, replace screen, upgrade memory, or custom spray paint exterior while it is apart. If for no other reason to satisfy curiosity that can lead to new horizons.
