@CaseIH - Sorry no - maybe its irrelevant now anyway given KG's last post.
I'm curious as to what issued the message; was it the forum, your browser, your OS or your security software? The message reads more like a browser, OS or security suite message, rather than a VBulletin (forum software) error. But I hoped packaging the file in a zip might overcome it. I think some firewalls will block uploading files to non white-listed sites. BR Last edited by BetterRed; 02-11-2014 at 03:32 PM. |

I have tried uploading from Firefox, Opera, Chrome & Safari. I get the same message. I click on attachments, select the file I want it tries to upload and the the pop-up window gives me the message.
Only firewall is what came with windows. My OS is Win 7 Professional. I have MS Security Essentials & Malware bytes. I am in Nebraska using Wild Blue internet if that makes a difference. |

@ CaseIH - A suggestion, change the file name from metadata.db to metadata.txt and see if you can upload that. But, do the rename to a copy of the file located in a temporary place. Also, if this works add a note to change the file back to metadata.db.
I used to do this with .exe files. Hope this helps. Ron |

@CaseIH - upload it in a zip to a file host (e.g zippyshare) and post link here.
If you can put a screen shot of the error message you get when you try to upload to here into the zip, then that that might help someone resolve that issue. BR |

Hmm, according to the original error you posted your database has some entries with no paths, but the database you uploaded has no such entries, so I am confused. In any case, my fix should work for the original error, so try the next calibre release.
