You make it sound like there is an extra tax only on ebooks. Is it more like in the past Ontario lawmakers chose not to have a PST on books. Then that was never extended to cover ebooks. Probably something to do with Ontario job protection and job creation.

Maybe move your account to Alberta where we have no Provincial Sales tax or HRT.
