Kindle 3 -- Can I store multiple bookmarks? How?

The OP just wants to have 3 bookmarks in the same book. Not to be able to open them all at the same time. When they try to create more than one bookmark the previous bookmark is deleted. I hope I got that right. That way they can go back to the specific pages when they want to for reference.

I wish the OP would come back. I pulled up the manual for the K3 (I gave mine away). Unless I missed it somewhere, he never mentioned how he was trying to view the bookmarks that were set.

Experimentally, [Menu] => Add bookmark done three times in the same book, all showed up in Notes & Marks on my K3GB. The book was a sideloaded Mobi format one from Baen. [Alt][B] is a little different. it only adds a new bookmark if there isn't one on the curre3nt page, otherwise it deletes the existing bookmark.

Yes, Alt+B is a toggle. It does the same as tapping the top right corner on a touchscreen Kindle.

On the K3, bookmarks and highlights essentially do the same thing. They are separated on later Kindles.
