Ahh, third base. It reminds me of those steamy times in the back seat of my Jensen Interceptor when I was just a shy, little, teenage girl. By an amazing coincidence my name then was "Zelda", though all my conquests called me "Handsy".
Cheers, Marc |

One of the problems with mud-fuds is they never feel silly: their armor of arrogance is entirely too thick to allow the notion that any idea they come up with might not be the best idea in the history of the world, which is to say even better than their last one. They seem to believe that having gotten their degrees both makes them instant experts on everything, and absolves them from dreary matters such as thinking.
Seriously, we have one mud-fud who actually complained to his supervisors (regularly, for an extended period of time, apparently) that he didn't have time to see his patients (his job) because he was programming a system for developing research plans and compiling the results (in other words, duplicating the jobs of an entire programming team in my department -- not very well as it happens ![]() I should be clear: there are quite a number of M.D., Ph.D.s on the staff where I work (most of them, in fact) who are wonderful folks who do their jobs exceedingly well, and who are not arrogant at all, well only a little. We do not refer to them as mud-fuds so that we can distinguish between them and the few who are complete goobers. |
