long press for one, tap for the other? But if it's a choice I'd rather lose the 'select' because I can always start on the second line and drag the selection upward to the first line (btw, doesn't this problem then too exist a little bit lower? i.e. select vs tap to swap themes?)

@At_Libitum - There are technical reasons (I can elaborate) why a long-press and single tap cannot be used simultaneously in this case. I think I've found a way to make the tap zone smaller and not interfere with the first line selection. It is still quite accurate in small margin mode. Expect it in the next update.
