I have used fictfact for quite a while now (pretty sure I read about it in an MR thread originally). I got a bit of a shock when I realised how many series I am actually reading.

I like the fact that they email you too when books are added to series and when release dates come up. Very handy.

What do they do about series with books in parallel ?

Thus in the Sharon Lee & Steve Miller Liaden series I Dare and Saltation end at the same incident. If I found the right listing fictfact just show publication order.

Same problem with David Weber's Honor Harrington series

One could argue that publication order is a perfectly valid choice, given that's how people following the series at the time it was released would have read the books.

For a counterexample, they have Sharpe in chronological order, but it's generally very easy to determine chron order of that series from the title or subtitle of the book. For other series, it isn't so simple, and you have to really know the series well to get it into chron order.
