I've had nothing but positive experiences from the Sony Store. I recently wanted to buy the latest James Patterson, Maximum Ride novel. I checked a couple of competing sites and Sony's was only ten cents more, which I'll gladly pay to not have to convert the book to LRF.

All of the books I've purchased have been error free (afaik) and the fonts have been okay. Maybe I'm just lucky.

It's the publisher who's (normally, at least) responsible for the formatting of the book, not the seller. It's nothing to do with Sony.

This is, I think, an area in which MobiPocket devices have a huge advantage over the Sony in allowing the reader to select the font size, rather than the publisher.

I've emailed Sony whenever I find a book I want that is much cheaper as an Amazon Kindle edition. Same book, same publisher, yet Sony sells it for a much higher price. In every instance, Sony tells me (3-4 weeks later), "too bad".

I've had good response from Sony's store, although I tend to choose my books based on what's available, rather than seeking out a particular book and hoping it's there. For example, after tearing through the Brad Thor and Vince Flynn books, the Brian Haig books (Sean Drummond, protagonist) caught my eye. I suggested they offer a Brian Haig bundle, and they had one for sale in about a week. (Of course I purchased it and am on the final book already!)
