I mean seriously...how much battery can wi-fi possibly take? Battery went down over 10% in the 16 hours it was just asleep.

My Glo could last for over several weeks during normal use but if it downloaded a firmware upgrade over WiFi it could easily use up over 25% (once it used something like forty percent) in just downloading it (which made me paranoid about how much power it would take to complete the install).

You have to remember that there's two factors for the massive battery drain, the WiFi, plus the fact that it's writing to the memory (which obviously takes up more power than to read).

WiFi activity sucks the battery down pretty quickly. I can't say just how much it'll drop in sleep mode... I'd expect very little as WiFi should be powered down during sleep mode. I do know it'll suck the battery down 5-7 points on a sync.
