See iLiad's 16 Colours. I have cropped and converted one gif image and HTML screenshot to MobiPocket (attached). I can't easily distinguish white and the lightest grey on my iLiad, but the 2nd lightest gray is definitely different from the background. All 16 colours are easily distinguished on my PC's LCD monitor.

Thank you. I tested with the pictures. the result is the same as yours. can't really tell any difference between the first and second block. but the third one's certainly a little bit greyer than the previous two. thanks. I hope this proves the machine is working well? thank you.
