Thanks Helen, but...

I don't have a problem, one of the reasons I don't use Virtual Libraries is that as well as filtering the books in the library, it filters the Tag Browser. However as I previously wrote "even if the restriction to the Tag browser could be tweaked off I'm not sure I would use them".

I'm also I'm influenced by the digital asset manager I use which has something similar to Virtual Libraries. When I am viewing my China Collection, I can see all of my Categories (Tags) - including the IPTC keyword CV that has entries like "Military" and "Installation"

If you read the last sentence in this post, and look at what's under my MR nickname you'll get an inkling of my 'philosophy'.

That I choose not to use VLs, should not be construed as me implying that the other 3,482,681 active installations also shouldn't be using them. I think there's been enough said on this non problem of mine

Your choice of course. I find them useful at times, but a lot of things I find useful at times have others shaking their heads.
