Third party cases or sleeves for Kobo Aura, please? - Page 2

I saw those earlier; I was disappointed to see that there were no pictures of the interior, I have no idea how the reader is held in place. It also looks a bit bulkier than the slimfit covers.

yep, try as i might i cant find any interior shots of any of the Aura cases so i wont be buying online. Also £40 for a case is a lot, that's £10 more than a paperwhite cover which is already £15 to much.

I will say though one thing that i do like is the abundance of discount codes coming from kobo, some big discounts recently %50! It does make up somewhat for the price of the cases.

You can check the link I posted here which shows the translated Rakuten Japan page; there's a thumbnail pic of the Aura in a sleep cover. It looks nice but I'm holding out for a lower priced aftermarket slim-fit cover.

I do agree about the abundance of coupon codes!

Not what I'm looking for either; for one thing it says nothing about being a sleep-cover. Besides which, I'm not a big fan of corner straps as a way of securing the reader in the case. I really want a reasonably priced snap-in sleep-cover. I do like the material though.

As you say, not bad, but still not as good as the molded back ones. I do wish they would hurry up and release them.

I'm getting impatient waiting for a molded back sleep cover too. I just don't care for the ones Kobo offer.

I was checking alibaba again and finally saw a slim click-in style sleep case for the 6" Aura in turquoise and in red. There are also listings for black, white and yellow. Here's to hoping they get to eBay and/or Amazon before Christmas!

Excellent find! If they had red or turquoise I'd be tempted to go ahead and order rather than wait for a North American seller. Hopefully this is a sign there are more sellers on the horizon.

Looks ok, But I don't know why they didn't make it smaller, It spoils the small form factor imho
