I like the addition of the year (in fact that reminded me that that's what I used in the comments & the 'long' name in KindleTool, something like PaperWhite 2 (2013)), but like ixtab, I somehow feel that more than 4 characters long is too much :/. That would leave PW13, which unfortunately just looks weird.

PW2k13? PW2013? Meh :/.
PW2 looks 'good enough' for now, but I agree that it might end up biting us in the ass...

I vote for KT, PW, PW2, but also to introduce an option for KT+PW, PW+PW2 and TK+PW+PW2 combinations, for app and questions that regards multiple devices

A different prefix for each combination will make the filtering function useless.if it is needed, K5 can be stay alive to use it as a general prefix for 5.x devices.

Actually it would be better if we can use more than one. Tags could be enough for this but they should be included in the thread list as clickable items like the the way on the bottom of each threads so that we can click on them and get related threads listed

I tend to agree with the idea of multiple tags... but worst case PW2 is a decent failover choice.

I already asked Alex about this some three weeks ago, and again two weeks ago. Didn't get a reply yet - I hope he's just on vacation or something....
