I read and enjoyed most of his books. Some scratched my more juvenile itches and some were just thrilling. "Rainbow Six" deserved to be made into a video game.

The last couple of novels, the ones with Greaney, have been much closer to Clancy's original voice than the books that immediately preceded these. Either Greaney is a much better writer than the previous co-authors, or Clancy played a more involved role in these works - perhaps both. Who knows?

By the way, does anyone else think it a little odd that no information has been released as to the cause of Clancy's death?

It's been "Don Pendleton's" Mack Bolan series for a while now. I guess we'll be seeing "Tom Clancy's" Jack Ryan series, too.
