I leave some suggestions to make this app a perfect one, if you'll ever have spare time for them:
1) Make possible to set by keyboard width and height of new canvas dimensions (or make the arrows less tiny so that can be clicked, or any other way useful to achieve this)

Secondary:
2) Let the user set the canvas default dimensions, so that PW user can set them to fill their screen too
3) take off the cursors icons (especially pencily and selection cross): they leave artifacts on paperwhite

Last thing: the post says that now Rgbpaint is native, but on my system it works only with fronter ON

You CERTAIN you overwrote the rgbpaint binary???
(I just dumped it on mine "fresh" as I never tested it on a PW)

perhaps delete the entire /mnt/us/extensions/rgbpaint folder first and shove it on again?

1) I can do. probably missed a naming trick somewhere
(should be L:D_N:dialog_ID:blah_RKB:true, looks like left it L:A_N:application_ID:blah)

2) hmm.. dunno about that. would have to nose around in the code.

3) Could be possible via a .gtkrc file, or maybe a code hack.

I'm away for a couple of days so if anyone feels like jumping in and fixing it... That would be nice.

For hiding the cursor in a easy way maybe you could raplace the cursor images with transparent ones... (not so elegant but who cares :P)

Are you sure the title string should be translated?
The:

thingy.
Perhaps only portions of it - like those parts that can be read by a person.

Doh. I'll go check what I missed. must have fronter activated on the PW.

Hmm....
I wonder if those translation operations used on the full title string is causing a problem.

Scratches head - not sure how to see what string the software is actually using at runtime, *after* the native language translation.

Almost -
Kubrick can restore a Kindle Touch, but not a Kindle Paperwhite.

Some developers start with a K4 - nearly indestructible, and throw-away cheap if it gets totally trashed (its used display screen is nearly worth the price paid for a new one).

okay... figured it.

basically the name is getting set too late.

should fix it. (errr. not my code by the way, theirs, I am hacking it in now)

building now, release next 5 mins.


by the way, thanks for noticing this - I have seen this same "PW just ignore naming" in other gtk apps so this horrific hack should fix those one too... nice
