How can I vote "none" if I'm expected to pick one regardless of if I was planning to get one or not?

I'm putting my money behind Kobo. While the Paperwhite is nice, I'm not convinced the new Carta display is a difference maker. I don't think my poor 'ol eyes will really notice. On the other hand, the Aura looks nicer and is also lighter/smaller.

I want the Kobo Aura. But I am waiting to hear people's opinions on it and on the PW2, before I decide. I'd also like to get the Kobo from a US seller, if I can.

Looking at your device list, you'll buy them anyway, just to keep your collection complete. Get them both. And the Aura HD while you're at it.

Like a typical Hoarder, I can bring them in but never send them away....

Luckily, I don't attach to electronics. I may like it, and like it a lot, but when I find something (for a good price) that improves noticably on what I have, I don't have a problem switching and selling the old stuff.

I skipped the last generation so I could probably rationalize getting a reader I don't need.

First, though, I'll want to see it in person and in my area that means Kindle or Sony.
Still hoping for an open eink android tablet or a new Nook, but not holding my breath for either.
Who knows? It's early in the gadget season; I might go with a Dell Venue, instead.

I still covet the Aura HD. Larger screen + amazing contrast trumps anything the new Aura, Paperwhite or T3 have to offer.

Ahh, I was stupidly thinking everybody would sort of like to buy one even if they weren't actually planning on doing so or would see other or none as suitable answers. I am sure there are more like you have less than none leanings in any direction. Wish I could email you some Aspirin.

None. When my Aura HD broke (already!) I bought the older PRS-T1. Outside of the backlight, which I rarely used, it gets the job done just as well.
