Kobo Support, What Can I Expect? - Page 2

When I ordered my Mini last week from the Kobo website, I went into chat because I did not get an order confirmation email. I was told that they do not send out any emails. That was funny because they asked for an order number when I went into Chat. I do remember after the order on the site the confirmation page (if you call it that) after I placed the order might have had the order number on it. I didn't copy it down because I assumed (wrongly) that I would receive a confirmation email. I also asked would I receive an email when the Mini shipped. The sales rep indicated that I would not. That seems a strange way to run an order site. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will get here soon.

They did send out confirmation emails back in April for many who ordered the AuraHD, but quite a few didn't get one either. Perhaps with the problems they axed the emails completely.

I went into chat at Kobo again today, gave them my order number, and the representative came back and told me that my Mini had been sent and gave me a tracking number. I tracked the package and found out that it had been delivered (I do have it)! But, how hard would it have been for them to just send an email and supply me with a tracking number. The Kobo had been sent last week. You have to start off on the right foot with the customer experience I think.

Anyway, back to getting it all set up!!
