Gateway meant an awful lot to me back when I originally read it. Which was probably about 25 years ago, now. I wonder if I'd get the same out of it now?

Weirdly, I have bought both Pohl's and Vance's autobiographies in the last year or so, which makes me feel like I have some superstitious power, but I suspect the fact that they were both well into their 90s might have had more to do with it.
