B&N did it right: Set a proper deadline and transferred the accounts.

In any case: Amazon buying a company is not good news for the customers.

If that's your idea of the right way to do it then I think you have your priorities backwards.

The tl;dr version is that the blogger read too much into one of Amazon's promo videos, misunderstood what the video actually said, and then proceeded to speculate wildly on what it could mean.

He also misstated an old rumor as fact, overgeneralized a complex question with a simple answer, and pretty much didn't say anything new at all.
