OK, that was January ....
Come November and the recipe doesn't work anymore, at least for me. But I have to add, I'm on calibre 2.0 as I still run XP and as of recently I may not install higher versions. I am not aware whether the brandeins website has changed or if there are other reasons for the recipe not to work. I'd be glad, if someone could look into this, thanx. |

You are right, the brand eins recipe is broken and doesn't work anymore, even with the newest calibre version installed under Windows 7.
A couple of days ago, I sent a friendly request directly to Kovid via mail, pointing out that brand eins is one of the better German language magazines and deserves attention, but I received no answer or reaction. I don't blame Kovid for that, it is amazing to see what workload he manages to handle regarding calibre, and he has probably a life beyond that... ;-) Nevertheless, a fixed recipe for brand eins would make quite a few people happy. Is there anybody around who may have a look at this? Thanks, Ralph |
