We're not discussing Kobo devices - we're discussing KoboBooks.com bad customer service. Just because Kobo also sells devices, doesn't mean that discussion is limited to those devices.

A lot of people buy books from Kobo that do not own a Kobo device.

I notice that you do not limit discussions of Apple or Amazon to the Kindle or iDevice forums.

FWIW, I do not own a Kobo device.

I would agree with khalleron. The discussion was about purchasing ebooks from kobobooks.com and has little if anything to do with Kobo's ereaders which are the subject of this forum. From the forum descriptions, it would appear to belong in the general discussion forum where it fits two out of three parameters -- "General discussions about e-book reading not specific to a device, software or format."

I agree. I have only Kindles, but I buy from Kobobooks and from Google Play.
Last time I had problem with Google Play, I posted it in Kobo forum, though I wasn't sure my post was at the right place, since I was having problems with opening a book bought form Google Play in ADE.
Maybe some other forum thread should be started?

I think I've figured out part of the problem - they're apparently rolling out a new site design. The new site design only has the icons, the old site had the download descriptions.

I see only trouble in the future. Without the description, you have no way of knowing whether the book is compatible with your device.

I have a feeling Kobo is constantly working against itself.
I am more and more using Google Play (after Amazon, which remains my first) and going to Kobo more and more only when they have a discount bigger than 30%. At least Amazon and Google more and more often try to price match others, I don't have the feeling (nor the experience) that Kobo is doing anything similar.
