Paper books or e-books; it doesn't matter.
I bought the Sword of Honour trilogy in epub from BoB just before its demise, so it's out there.

It's available as a bundle from amazon for $9.50
http://www.amazon.com/Honour-Penguin.../dp/B0082FY9Q6

and from amazon.ca for CDN$ 9.99
http://www.amazon.ca/Honour-Penguin-.../dp/B0082FY9Q6

Great price, as the individual novels are usually $9-$10

Thanks. I was able to get it at amazon.ca for CDN$ 2.99
http://www.amazon.ca/Thin-Line-World.../dp/B006HCU64A

I used to have this as a paperback, so I was glad to get a good deal on the ebook.

Jones actually served in the pre-war army and as an infantryman on Guadalcanal.

Just personal opinion, your mileage may vary but Wouk and Leon Uris all the way for me. I've read all three authors and though I've enjoyed them all, I found the Wouk books and Uris's Mila 18, Exodus and QB VII to be first class.
