FYI Just discovered an odd drag and drop quirk.

I was running Calibre(64) under W7 (with a local drive Library).

I tried to Drag and Drop book update from a UNC folder (host on XP).
It looked like I did a normal drop (no circle slash), in fact nothing got updated.
If I first dragged the file and dropped to the (W7)desktop , then dragged the desktop file to Calibre, it updated the book.

You should also be able to make it work by mapping the network drive to a local drive letter and then drag and dropping from the local drive.

I was going to try that later. It is no biggie!
One thing I did notice is there is a huge speed difference from running on the lowly P4 of my desktop system.
