The only method that worked for me (after trying several unsuccessful pin resets) was the holding power slider for 20 seconds or so to turn the Aura off. Then continuously pressing on the light switch while turning the Aura on again - yes, it probably is some kind of factory reset, but it beats the lack of sleep and thinking about spending mega bucks to get a new one to start over with... Thank you for this wonderful tip.

I had the same problem, and holding the power switch for 20 etc. didn't work until I removed the SD card and then it worked.
