You have to wonder where they get their customer service reps. You should be able to return the device if you're not satisfied for any reason, even if it works as advertised, so long as they're in perfect condition. Or in any condition if defective. Pretty simple policy that conforms to both industry standard and common sense, yet these guys can't wrap their heads around it? Just boggles my mind. Maybe I'd understand if they're having trouble with the dates or some finer details but then again, it is their job to know the policy in all its fineprinted glory.

There's a reason most companies have similar policies, this is the very basic protection provided to you under the consumer protection laws of the majority of developed countries. You'd be able to get a refund for a defective product even if the company has no return policy..

I wonder how much it costs them to return the item? It would at least cost them the shipping of the defective unit back + shipping the new unit. That alone is $40-$50 in my case.

I wish they could send me $50 because the only thing I'm worried about is killed resale value of my Aura with the pinhole light defect.
