Aura HD Anyone bought a Kobo Aura HD using a freight forwarder

I used NZ Post's Youshop (purchased from Kobo.com) - the reader arrived yesterday - six days deleivery once it left the US. NZD$31.50 in postage - it was in a big box! Did not buy a cover.

I like the front lighting and hi-res, not so enamoured with the interface compared to my Sony and Kindle.

Will start to read a book on it in the next couple of days before I pass final judgement.

Thanks, I was thinking from the people I asked it would be up to 1.5kg in volumetric weight. 2kg is even more than I expected. But still seems likely that Youshop will likely be cheapest.

You didn't happen to get a real weight and/or volume/box size measurement did you?

Yep,
Parcel weight 0.7kg
Parcel dimensions 23cm x 36cm x 12cm
Volumetric weight 1.99kg

Volumetric weight (kg) = [length(cm) x breadth(cm) x height(cm)]/5,000

It is only the second time I have used my YouShop account, but I have found the service, communication, and delivery time to be very good.
