I tried and like other's the scan fails to locate content.
Additionally attempts to connect to the local port returns no data. |

There is a bug in scanner (kinda "last minute bug"; added by implementing brand new feature; also,
I don't have a "smoke test" ). Will fix it soon; BTW, enable logging will be helpful for debug purposes. Also, I'd like to see some of the "wrong" epubs.

Today we've released stable version 1.0, enjoy!
TinyOPDS now is fully portable and work on Linux (with mono). Also a lot of minor/major bugs was fixed. |

What is the advantage of using this over calibre-server, or calibre2opds?
Aside from not needing a calibre library, which it would be surprising if anyone WASN'T using calibre?? |

There are few more less significant advantages, like a real tiny size - 700Kb instead of 49MB, proper cyrillic support, advanced open search etc.

TinyOPDS just got a major update!
About a month ago I suddenly felt like revisiting my old good "TinyOPDS" project — a little program that, believe it or not, has been running almost flawlessly (well, almost!) for me and a few thousand other people for around 12 years. At first I only planned to tweak the HTTP server a bit, but I ended up practically rewriting the whole thing—about 80 percent of the code In short, for those who don’t like reading long posts (even though this app is for people who do love reading): TinyOPDS lets you build your own personal “Project Guttenberg”-style library. Just download TinyOPDS, grab a full torrent of "Project Guttenberg" or any of your favorite library, point "TinyOPDS" to the folder with the archives, start a scan, and in a few hours you’ll have your very own massive e-book collection. Project page with detailed documentation and wiki (including English, Ukrainian and Russian) is available at: https://github.com/sensboston/tinyopds It should work pretty much anywhere—Windows, or Linux/macOS, via mono or wine. Note: GUI will not work on macOS because macOS issue, but CLI works fine. Also, under wine everything works like on original Windows, including GUI Small donations ($1–5) are warmly appreciated, though not required. Once I collect enough, I plan to buy an EV code-signing certificate so Windows will stop complaining about "unknown publisher". Covering that out of pocket just doesn’t feel right. If you’d rather say thanks without spending money, that’s fine too: create a GitHub account (takes only a couple of minutes), unsubscribe from notifications and give a stars to my top repositories ![]() Enjoy!
