You misread my answer. I am using the term "eReader" generically, referring to electronic readers, of which the Cybook Gen3 is one of many. I was not referring to any kind of format.

If you had read the 1st paragraph, you would have seen that I was referring to the Mobipocket format, which works on Cybook.

Yes, I know how you meant the term. But you still it has a meaning that's not how you used it. It's best if we squash the incorrect usage of the word eReader just to avoid any possible confusion. Already I've seen where someone purchased eReader format based on the incorrect usage.

Please don't call them "eReaders". eReader is a specific ebook viewer software and associated ebook format. See http://www.ereader.com

The eReader viewer application runs on a variety of systems, including Windows, Mac OS/X, Palm OS, Windows Mobile, and Symbian. It does not run on any of the dedicated ebook readers. If the ability to view eReader formatted files is a requirement, a dedicated reader gets crossed off the list.
