You may have already done this, but if not you need to do this on your kindle.

Go to settings and under device, check the box "allow installation of applications from unknown sources" and make sure it is "on"!

Also as Jessica has said there are people here that could e-mail you the apps if we knew what you wanted.

Need a list of the apps you want and an address to send the apps to.

I have found that 1mobile sends me to the google play store when I have tried to download apps from them when using my kindle hd

Edit: If the apps are on your device, you need a file viewer to find and see them, "ES file viewer" is a good one. Use it to find the apk file and then you can click and install from the folder the apk is stored in.

VuDu & Reader for Sony ebooks basicly the only 2 I need/want

When you email thm do I just Sideload them... Anything else I need to do?

Yes everything Is turned ON.

If you are setup to read your e-mail on your kindle, the apps would be an attachment to the e-mail. Once you receive the mail you will see the attachments and you tap and download the apps to the kindle (automatic) then when they are downloaded you can tap again and then they will install themselves.

You can private message your e-mail address to whomever you trust and it will be done. I know Jessica has volunteered and I also can/will do it for you.

Use your PC to get the APK and then transfer them over. Use ES File explorer to browse to where you put them then install them from there.

Vudu is downloaded & right now downloading 1 of my movies... want to see if they play ok

Soon as the movie is downloaded I download the reader app

Blossom I do have the es file on the Fire. It cant find it LOL
Now I found the 1mobile on my PC but says there is a problem to retry opening it...sigh After 3 tries I will try again later. Maybe need to reboot the laptop.

Most aps I can get around by just putting them as faves for web sites.

I purchsed [freebie] app from Amazon it said wasnt compatable but I tried anyway. IT been 24 hrs still a no show on the Fire. It was for my HP printer to work with the Fire Any ideas? Yes my printer is wifi.

Go to amazon android apps store and look for "printbot" I also have a WiFi Hp printer.

That works with both my nexus and kindle hd!

OK Wil do that! BTW Movies Play GREAT! Thanks a million! I dont buy movies from vudu or rent them but I take my movies into walmart & for $2 each they add them to my account! Sometimes when you buy a movie at walmart they have Free to put it on your account & add mony to it! I got a couple 99 cent speciels that way!

Now the go download the Reader app!

OOO No They are both in the Fire But I no clue where LOL Any ideas how to get them into sy my Favs.... The only way I can find them it to go thru your emails & say I want to redownload them.

They are not showing up under the apps menu on the home screen?

If not I have not a clue!

Edit: I just installed both apps on my firehd using the exact two emails I sent you. Both installed and both show up in the app library with all the other installed apps.

Yes! About 2 sec ago! I checked befor I asked they werent there! Went to look again they Popup in my face so to speak

Whew! Guess the Fire had to process all them!

again! Let me play with them ...try to get use to them & how they work... Hopfully I wont ask more dumb question
