If you have any success removing the logo, please share your solvent of choice. I'd love to vanquish the thing too.

I've been using an angle grinder a lot recently, I wonder if it would work?

I bought a batch of different cloths sizes from Mobile Cloth, they're perfect for that. I was using said cloths for my iPhone, MP3 player, camera, but it works wonders on my Kobo Glo too. I picked the black color for my Kobo Glo.

My best compromise has been to magic marker over just the white logo, let it dry and then carefully hand buff the area to take the shine off it. The logo shows through a bit, sort of purplish black now, but the annoying bright spot is gone and the Kobo looks fine. Yeah, I'm a picky jackass at times.

Obviously, an LED light that simply covers the logo would be simplest, but the best light I have, an M-Edge which has three output levels, ends up tucked between the folded over front cover of my speck case and the back cover that the Touch snaps into, so...

Lol, in this matter, I'm a picky jackass too. I've used your procedure and it's fine now. Thanks for the tip

You're welcome. We picky jackasses must endeavor to stick together... Just be happy I couldn't find MY angle grinder and had to improvise!

The best part is that it should be reversible by merely rubbing the marker off or wiping with a little alcohol.

I have a white gorilla (silver backed) Glo; the white bezel doesn't really show finger print marks, and the silver back is a bit smeary but not too noticeable. And I generally have greasy/sweaty fingers. So I am very happy with the case. Better than black IMHO.

Hmmm... for those who have the black Kobo, are there fingerprint marks on the back quilting as well as the bezel?

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but this seems to be the only one on the subject of Kobo Glo colors.

I always wanted a blue PRS-350, but blue aluminum is a tad more fetching than molded plastic.

Question: Does anyone here own a blue Kobo Glo and, if so, how do you like the color?

Is it less fingerprint-friendly than the black, is the blue color close to cobalt, and does it interfere in any way with the reading process (the selling point of black being that it doesn't)?

only the actual back is blue...so not visible when reading...the front part is white...so as distracting as the white/silver ones...so it depends on what you feel about that. i picked black partly for that reason.

sorry i can't answer from personal experience about the blue back
